“Magnificat” Concert for the Month of the Rosary
October is the month of Our Lady of the Rosary in the Catholic Church, a month especially dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. This October, the Associação Católica Cultural de Macau is honored to invite Vox Antiqua, a renowned choir from Hong Kong specialising in sacred music, to perform in Macao for the “Magnificat” Concert for the Month of the Rosary, presenting a number of choral and organ works dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, including Antonio Vivaldi's setting of the Magnificat, the canticle that Mary herself proclaimed. Through sacred music, allowing the audiences to have a deeper understanding of the meaning of the Month of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Virgin’s passion for God.

An Immersive Light Journey on Macao’s Catholic Cultural Heritage
“Lumen Gentium: An Immersive Light Journey on Macao’s Catholic Cultural Heritages” is the first light show of its kind in the Catholic Diocese of Macau. “Light” has an important meaning in Catholic culture because "Christ is the Light of all nations" (Lumen Gentium 1). God desires to proclaim the Gospel to every creature, to bring the Light of Christ to all men, a light brightly visible on the countenance of the Church that illuminates the world.
"Via Pulchritudinis: Macao's Catholic World Heritage" Photo Exhibition
As a meeting point between China and the West, Macao has always had a unique charm in the Chinese-speaking lands and even in the world. The architectural styles, local customs, values, Catholic processions and devotions are seen in various places in Macao. Many of the Catholic churches are located in the “Historic Centre of Macao” and have been inscribed on the World Heritage List by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee. These churches are not only precious cultural treasures, but also illustrate the integration of Catholicism with local culture, and the result of more than 400 years of cultural exchanges between China and the West, and witnesses of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Far East.
The Official Premiere of “Stabat Mater Dolorosa” Music Video
Produced by the Associação Católica Cultural de Macau (ACCM), composed by Dr. Viola Yuen, Resident Composer of the St. Pius X Music Academy in Macao and Council Member of the Hong Kong Composers' Guild, and filmed by Mr. Hong Heng Fai, Macao’s first Golden Horse Award nominated director, the Stabat Mater Dolorosa music video will be premiered during Holy Week, on March 27, 2024 via ACCM’s official website and social media platforms. This project is sponsored by the Cultural Development Fund of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government.
"The Eucharistic Miracles of the World" International Exhibition to be Held at Fu Jen Catholic University
The Associação Católica Cultural de Macau (ACCM) will be co-hosting "The Eucharistic Miracles of the World" International Exhibition with the Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU) Bachelor’s Program in Catholic Studies. The exhibition will be held from March 12 to 18, 2024, at the Paul Cardinal Shan Medical Building, FJCU, from 10:00 to 17:00 daily. There will be scheduled guided tours conducted by the students from the program and a series of public lectures on the topic will also be given by the program professors during the exhibition period.
The Hong Kong Hymnos Festival 2023 Closing Concert “Tribute to Maestro Doming Lam” Successfully Performed

The Hong Kong Hymnos Festival 2023 Closing Concert "Tribute to Maestro Doming Lam" was held at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on December 2, 2023. It was co-organized by the Hong Kong Hymnos Festival Society and the Associação Católica Cultural de Macau (ACCM) and held in Macao for the first time. Guests who attended the event included Bishop Stephen Lee Bun Sang, the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Macau and Chairman of ACCM; Ms. Chan Lei Lei, the Acting Director at the Macao Conservatory of Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government; Ms. Fong Ieok Mui, the Coordinator of School Inspection of the Education and Youth Development Bureau of the Macau SAR Government and other prestigious guests.

Placing his artworks within the context of traditional Chinese philosophy and Christian spirituality, the “Art for God” Artworks and Spiritual Reflections Exhibition (Macao) by Fr. Joseph Tham, L.C. features the traditional Chinese theme of harmony between heaven, earth and humanity in Chinese calligraphy, brush painting and seal carving, revealing the glory and mysteries of God through arts.
“The Eucharistic Miracles of the World” New Book Release
"The Eucharistic Miracles of the World" International Exhibition presented by the Associação Católica Cultural de Macau (ACCM) in 2022 was a great success. In order to continue the promotion of this exhibition curated by the Blessed Carlo Acutis, ACCM is honoured to receive the permission from Antonia Salzano, the mother of Blessed Carlo Acutis, to publish the materials from the website built by Blessed Carlo Acutis (http://www.miracolieucaristici.org) into Chinese. The new book will be released on June 11, 2023, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.
“A Mystical Rose” Sacred Music Recitalby the Macao Catholic Culture Association Successfully Performed
This May, the Macao Catholic Culture Association (ACCM) had organized a series of “Ave Maria” Catholic cultural activities, and the grand finale of the series, “A Mystical Rose” Sacred Music Recital was held from 3pm to 4pm on May 28, 2023 at the St Joseph’s Seminary Church (Entrance at Rua do Seminário). The guests who attended the event included Ms. Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, the Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), Bishop Stephen Lee Bun Sang, the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Macao and Chairman of ACCM, and other prestige guests.
Ave Maria Activities Series
For centuries, the Catholic Church has set aside the entire month of May to honour Mary, Mother of God. This May, the Associação Católica Cultural de Macau will organize a series of “Ave Maria” Catholic cultural activities, including an art exhibition, handicraft workshops, and a sacred vocal recital, providing the cultural lovers in Macao a unique opportunity to learn more about the Catholic “Month of Mary” this May through art and beauty.

To further feature the uniqueness of the integration of Catholic culture and arts in Macao, the Associação Católica Cultural de Macau invited the renowned Macao artist, Mr. Wong Ka Long, to jointly present the “Culture of Encounter: Catholic Arts Exhibition by Wong Ka Long”, sponsored by the Macao Foundation.

Through the illustration drawn by our in-house illustrator, it hopes to present to the public the historical and cultural significance of fifteen key Catholic intangible cultural heritage & liturgical feasts of the Catholic Diocese of Macau.

“The Eucharistic Miracles of the World” International Exhibition, the Church-approved photographic Vatican International Exhibition, curated by Blessed Carlo Acutis, presents the realities which human science cannot prove and are beyond the reach of scientific research. The exhibition will be reopened to public from August 9, 2022 to September 30, 2022.
“Discovering Everyday Beauty” Photo Exhibition, by António Leong
To celebrate the official opening of the Associação Católica Cultural de Macau's brand-new office, the association has specially invited Macao photographer António Leong, National Geographic Photo Contest Winner, to jointly present the “Discovering Everyday Beauty” Photo Exhibition. The photo exhibition starts from July 2 to September 30, 2021 and will showcase a new set of photos each month for three months, including The Chapel of Our Lady of Penha, the St. Joseph's Seminary and Church and the St. Lawrence’s Church.
Mystery of Gate: Byzantine Icon Painting 2018
In celebrating Advent & Christmas, the Associação Católica Cultural de Macau & Macau San Luca Promotion Co. Ltd. jointly organise the Art Exhibition "Mystery of Gate: Byzantine Icon Painting" by Theresa Tung Lan Chih & Isidro Aragón Diez.
Over 40 pieces of icon paintings under 8 themes namely "The Mystery of Nativity", "The Mystery of Luminous", "The Paschal Mystery", "The Mystery of Holy Trinity", "The Holy of the Blessed Virgin Mary", "The Holy Family", "The Archangels" & "All Saints in Heaven" will be exhibited at Sé Cathedral from 10th December, 2018 to 6th January, 2019.
