"The Eucharistic Miracles of the World" International Exhibition to be Held at Fu Jen Catholic University
This March, the Macao Catholic Culture Association (ACCM) will be co-hosting "The Eucharistic Miracles of the World" International Exhibition with the Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU) Bachelor’s Program in Catholic Studies. The exhibition will be held from March 12 to 18, 2024, at the Paul Cardinal Shan Medical Building, FJCU, from 10:00 to 17:00 daily. There will be scheduled guided tours conducted by the students from the program and a series of public lectures on the topic will also be given by the program professors during the exhibition period.
"The Eucharistic Miracles of the World" International Exhibition in Macao had been very well received in 2022, with over 2000 visitors and 40 groups of guided tours. "The Eucharistic Miracles of the World" International Exhibition School Tour was launched in the same year, and toured seven Catholic schools in Macao. ACCM has also launched “The Eucharistic Miracles of the World” VR360 virtual online exhibition and published the Chinese version of the “The Eucharistic Miracles of the World” catalogue in order to further promote the topic.
The Catholic Church firmly believes that there is no conflict between science and Christian faith; rather, they can inspire each other. The "Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles" was curated by Blessed Carlo Acutis and presents a collection of scientifically recognized Eucharistic miracles that have occurred in various countries and regions over the centuries. It aims to explore the profound significance behind these miracles, which surpasses the limitations of scientific inquiry, from the perspective of Catholic culture and science. The exhibition has been translated into 17 languages and has been showcased in different cities across five continents, receiving the recognition of the Holy See.
