Opening Ceremony of “The Eucharistic Miracles of the World” International Exhibition

The Macao Catholic Culture Association (ACCM) is pleased to present “The Eucharistic Miracles of the World” International Exhibition, curated by Blessed Carlo Acutis.  This Church-approved photographic Vatican International Exhibition has been translated into 17 languages and presented around the World.  The opening ceremony was held on June 17, at 3PM, at Rua Formosa No. 5 R/C Macau, and was officiated by the Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), Ms. Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, the Division Head of Secondary Education of Education and Youth Development Bureau of the Macau SAR Government, Mr. Leong I On, the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Macau and Chairman of ACCM, Bishop Stephen Lee Bun Sang, and other prestige guests.

The Eucharistic miracles have been one of the most studied topics by scholars and scientists from all over the world.  Catholics are united by faith in the real presence of the Lord Jesus in the Eucharist.  The Catholic Church firmly believes that there is no opposition between science and faith.  “The Eucharistic Miracles of the World” International Exhibition features the Eucharistic miracles that have taken place over the centuries in different countries and which the Church recognises.  It explores the relations and influences between the Catholic cultures and contemporary science, presenting the realities which human science cannot prove and are beyond the reach of scientific research.  As Macao enters the stabilization period for pandemic prevention, “The Eucharistic Miracles of the World” International Exhibition will be reopened to public from August 9, 2022 to September 30, 2022.
